No iPhone 5 (yet) and some disappointment after the first keynote without Jobs

I've followed closely today's keynote from Apple to announce the new iPhone 4S and iPod Touch models, and I admit a bit of disappointment, even if the line up remains strong and the spoken interaction with the iPhone seems a very good idea.

But still, I guess people were expecting more and were somehow let down after the end of the event. By the way, let me be the first in stating that I was plain wrong in my gut's announcement of the iPhone 5 introduction today.

I'm quite curious to see the reaction to the new line up of products, and also to the lack of the much hyped second new iPhone.

However I am very puzzled by the tremendous deal announced yesterday between Sprint and Apple: in today's event, I saw nothing to justify a 20 billion deal only to allow Sprint to sell the new iPhone 4S, besides the other companies selling it; it is no exclusive for Sprint, and therefore I don't understand the move. Unless Apple & Sprint have another, different rabbit ready to jump out of the hat... which might justify such huge expense to Sprint.
